Nestled under the tranquil shade of an ancient banyan tree in picturesque Kadakam, Kerala, Manu’s Chayakkada is more than just a café; it’s a warm embrace of local culture and vibrant tastes. This charming spot is renowned for its authentic Kerala tea, affectionately called adichaaya, which you must savor during your visit. While the service may take a moment, rest assured that every second you wait feels like a part of a comforting ritual, transporting you to the heart of Kerala.

Imagine the rich aroma of freshly brewed tea wafting through the air as you sit back and relax. The experience at Manu’s is enriched by the delightful sound of rustling leaves overhead, making it an ideal escape for those looking to unwind. The soft chatter of happy patrons combines with the gentle hum of nature, creating an ambiance that outshines the luxurious offers of more commercial café chains like CCD.

During your visit, be sure to indulge in their signature chakli, a crunchy snack that's the perfect accompaniment to your cup of tea. A review from a satisfied customer, Ajay E, beautifully encapsulates the café's allure, describing it as “one of the best places to have the authentic Kerala tea.” The atmosphere, in tandem with vibrant conversations led by the charismatic Manu ettan, truly makes this café a hidden gem.

Whether you're seeking a quiet corner for reflection or a vibrant social hub to catch up with friends, Manu’s Chayakkada offers an inviting escape that speaks to both the heart and palate. Take a moment to immerse yourself in the local culture, where tea isn't just a beverage but a heartfelt tradition.

One of the best place to have the authentic kerala tea (adichaaya). Bit late to get it served but every second of the wait is worth it. The chakli served as a snack is a must try. The ambience provided under the shades of a banyan tree is more than any of the luxurious CCDs. Moreover the Manu ettan is all fun and pun. :P

I recently visited Tea Haven, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their extensive tea selection. The menu offers a wide variety of teas, from classic black and green teas to unique blends and herbal infusions. I tried their signature jasmine green tea, and it was exquisite – fragrant, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The pastries and snacks complement the teas wonderfully, making it a great spot for a light bite. Overall, Tea Haven is a must-visit for any tea enthusiast. Whether you're looking to unwind with a book or catch up with friends, this tea shop provides the perfect setting. Highly recommended!
